Joining a group allows you to focus primarily on your practice without the hassle of billing or negotiating contracts with health plans. Being part of an established group often means that administrative tasks like billing are handled for you, enabling you to dedicate more time to supporting your clients.

Malama doulas combine substantial life and personal experiences with a deep passion for nurturing our mothers. They adhere to rigorous standards to deliver the highest quality of support. Each doula must have extensive training covering lactation support and childbirth education and have attended at least three births, ensuring a deep understanding of pregnancy, childbirth and postpartum.

When you join Malama’s provider group, you benefit from the group’s established relationships with insurance networks. The group has already completed the necessary credentialing, contracting and negotiating with plans to establish favorable rates for services. Malama handles billing and reimbursement on your behalf, ensuring fair and consistent compensation for your services without individual negotiations with each plan.
